TV Watchers — ... And then let's look ahead to 2010, when Matt Smith (pictured) becomes the new Doctor Who. This isn't a show I write about much (actually, at all), but I started watching it earlier in 2008 and got hooked pretty quickly. I'm talking about the new version of Doctor Who. The show actually dates back to 1963, and I remember seeing repeats of it -- typically from the '70s -- late at night on PBS when I was a kid.
